Our Recent Family Portrait Session

  As always, I am keen to share the images I create. These are from a recent family photo session.  I must admit that of all the work I do, families are probably the most difficult and therefore stressful for me.  I'm a perfectionist and I find it hard to produce perfect images when you need to worry about so many people all at the same time, particularly when some of those people happen to mention that they hate having their picture taken and would almost rather that we just photograph the kids.  But when you get it right it can be so rewarding.  There is nothing like getting an image where everyone is looking their best.  And I feel I did manage that with the above image.  It was everything I wanted out of that image.  As is often the case, we allow our clients a clothing change or two and an alternate background as sometimes they aren't sure what they want.  I quite like them both for different reasons and my clients agree, hence ordering them both.  And of cou
